We used to bring this toy out on sunny days and let all the neighborhood kids play in and around it. It made for hours of fun and the kids who played in ranged in ages from preschool through grade school, and all of them had a blast. It's pretty durable, though I wouldn't play with it on concrete, grass works best, and it is a great rainy day toy as well, because you can configure it in such a way that it will fit in your living room with out taking it over. I would buy this toy again in a minute! It is fantastic.

Our little ones really enjoy this village of fun. It's so big that we only put up parts of it they can developmentally enjoy. They aren't big enough or skilled enough to enjoy the hoops just yet, so we will pull those parts out later. To that end, it stores very easily under a couch or bed. The structure is durable, from the standpoint of it's not easily damaged, but our one-year-olds can flatten tent sections with no effort. We can touch it in certain places and it folds in on itself. It frequently collapses with pressure and sometimes the kids are inside--which isn't a huge problem as it is open from the bottom. It's easy to retrieve them. They frequently get pinned by the frame when it flattens, as they segué from one section to another via the tubing. They don't enjoy that very much. So... while they are old enough to enjoy playing in various sections, it easily folds in on them or under them. And now that they have figured out how to fold it, that's all they want to do with it. We're not very happy with that aspect, and hope that as they age they will appreciate it more for it's standing 'play fortress' capacities. I do recommend it or a smaller version of it. They enjoy playing with it, just not necessarily as intended. Be vigilant that it will flatten easily, to no detriment, but still...

I live in a small apartment with very little space and I am always trying to consolidate and organize to make life fit a little more comfortably. My four year old and three year old have lots of energy and though I would love to get them to the park every day, it just can't happen particularly through Colorado winters. This playhut set is perfect for us because it makes our apartment more exciting and fun, and when it is time to clean up, the whole set fits nicely under my couch. I am very pleased with this purchase and I recommend it to anyone who needs a space efficient, light weight play area for their kids.
