"RoboCAN" 2010-02-12

Got this for my Grandson, but the adults had just as much fun with it. My grandson built it and the rest of us had a blast as it ran around the house. It is a simple great toy.

"Grandpa FUN!!!!" 2010-02-05
By Patricia Small (TUCSON, AZ, US)
I bought this as a Christmas present for our 12 year old grandson. My husband and grandson assembled this robot together. Although my grandson could not have done this project himself, it was a super fun project. All the parts were there nothing was missing. Well thought out by the designer. My grandson keeps it on his dresser at home, he said that he will show his children one day... the project that he and grandpa built together.

"Assembly a challenge" 2009-12-07
By M. heyden (United States)
Nice idea, but the assembly is very challenging. Not for little hands. Many small parts and screws that needed very small tools. My 6 year old couldn't really participate in the building of the robot, but he did enjoy it moving around, but the novelty is brief. Likewise the construction is not very durable.

Haven't had time to built it yet, but read the instructions.
It is well-designed. The hard part is choosing which can to use.

"Cool, but fragile and hard to build" 2009-10-28
By J. S. Dodds (Minnesota)
Well, not hard to build so much as instructions that are too complex. It's neat when it's done but the electronic parts are fragile. After five minutes of operation the wiring broke, no abuse of any kind. A real slog to put together and then my 8 year old was immediately disappointed when the parts failed
