Grows with your Child
The sturdy, plastic-molded, brightly colored table sits flat on the floor for babies to play at while sitting. You can attach the table's legs to adjust it to accommodate toddlers' play while standing. And it offers plenty of activities at different levels of learning to keep your child entertained for these early developmental years. Your child will delight in spinning the maraca to hear a fun rendition of the ABC song; playing the colored piano keys to practice motor skills and learn about colors; moving the trombone's slide to count to 10; and sliding the cello to learn about up and down. Kids can tap on the colorful drum and learn about colors and primary shapes, too. Then, by flipping the pages of the "book" to go from the Learning Mode to the Music Mode, kids can hear more than 40 songs and melodies, including nursery rhymes and fun individual instrument sounds that will have them singing and dancing.

Plenty to Do, Lots to Learn
With all of these activities, your child will exercise his or her memory and problem-solving skills with lots of things to push, pull, turn, open, and close. And with the flip of a switch, the songs and games switch from English to Spanish, offering a great introduction to foreign-language learning. The Learn & Groove Musical Table requires some assembly and needs 3 AA batteries for operation. Batteries are not included.

"Slippery legs" 2010-03-29
By M. South (Ann Arbor, MI USA)
My 9 month old grandson loves this toy. He's just starting to stand up on things so I put the legs on it. The bottom of the legs are very slippery on carpet so he would push it then bang his head on it when it slipped away. We just roughed up the bottom of the legs with coarse sandpaper and now it doesn't slip away.

"Impressed" 2010-03-29
By BeachReader (Delaware)
As a fairly new grandmother, I am not impressed with many of the toys I see, which mostly seem to mindlessly entertain babies without teaching them anything. But this play table is different. I have seen my grandson learn cause and effect, dance to the music, push and pull, push, open, close. He especially loves the books, flipping the pages back and forth to heat the music.

He started using this at about 7 months and stood up at it for long periods of time. We put it against a coffee table so it would not slide. It is a very sturdy little table and holds him up in a standing position.

I am very impressed.

"Great buy" 2010-03-29
By ndcmuna (Guam, USA)
Provides lots of entertainment for my now 8 month old-seems to never get old with him. He loves the music aspect of the toy and with a flip of the center book, it does letters, numbers, shapes and colors too. This table is pretty sturdy, my son uses it to get around by pushing it and the legs have stayed strong. May be I should have gotten him a push and play. This is a great toy, keeps them busy and entertained while learning.

"FUN!!!!" 2010-03-23
By DM (nevada, USA)
My wife and I bought it for our 10 month old, so even though she's not fully capable of working all the gadgets correctly, she's still impressed every time we bring the toy to her... as if it was the first time.

"Baby really enjoys this toy" 2010-03-22
By SDMom (San Diego, CA)
We received this toy when our baby was about 6 months old, and he is now 9 1/2 months old. We mostly wanted it to encourage him to practice standing. He was delighted and amazed by the toy right away, and still really enjoys it now. I wish that some of the things that you manipulate on the toy had more of a variety of sounds and noises that they make (a few things have a lot of variety of songs/noises, but some only make a few sounds.) Better yet, it would be cool if you could put in different computerized chips to change all sounds/songs. But, even though we, the parents, are tired of some of the noises, my son isn't yet. A few concerns about safety and durability: He ripped off the little green "open-close" pocket door right away It easily snaps back on- but he has ripped it off several times. He also has managed to pull the whole table down onto the floor, on top of himself several times. Thankfully he hasn't really been injured by this yet- but the table top has some heft to it, so he could potentially hit himself in the head pretty hard with it. Also, the bottom edges of the plastic legs are a little sharp and could probably scrape him or hit him in the eye.
