We got this for our 5 year old son and as good and fun this mask looks, it is pure torture for our son. The strap adjustment does not fit perfectly no matter how much you adjust this. There is no way to fit this so that his eyes are on level with the mask's eyes. He has to tilt his head a bit and stare upwards in order to see where he's going. The weight is another big issue. It is very heavy for his head and no matter how he denies the uncomfort (because it's IRON MAN and TONY STARKS wears it!) we can see red marks all over his forehead after just a few minutes of wear.
Shame on the manufacturer on coming with such terribly toy design and the marketing that entices them. I believe the movie is rated PG but the trailers are being aired on Nick Jr all the time!!!

- WAY too heavy for a 5 year old to wear
- The straps does not adjust very well
- There is a lot of discomfort forhead and ears
- The mask's eyes does not line up well with the physical eyes

As a total fanboy, I love just about anything comic-related. I especially love when I get to dress up like the hero that I'm a huge fan of. Even adults like myself can get their heads in this well-constructed helmet. The sound effects can be a little bracing inside the helmet because they are darned loud, but from kids to adults, this is a very enjoyable toy, even to the adults just want an interesting decorative piece.
Great stuff.
