My son received this as a gift for Christmas, and was THRILLED!! He loves this Buzz, he says a few different phrases, and his wings pop open, etc. BUT... One of the wings keeps on loosing up, with regular play (he is careful, not rough, because he loves this toy so much), and causes the wings to catch. Is fixable, but seems as though I am fixing it often. The other day he was accidentally dropped, (from a 4 yr old height...not that far) and HIS ARM BROKE OFF. Permanently. No fixing it. So now my son is CRUSHED, and I will be out another $30...

We have had this toy for about one hour now. His helmet has already broken, and the plastic is cheap. He has 30+ sayings, which some of them are stupid, and he doesn't even say in the movie. One of his stickers is already coming off, he is covered in dirt (2 year old dirty hands) but still, none of his other toys have gotten that dirty so quickly, I think it is just the kind of plastic. He doesn't move like he does in the movie. Like he takes off and he puts his hands up together over his head, well this guy can barely put his arms up above his shoulders! I don't know if there is a better quality made buzz out there, but it is worth looking into.

I was so excited to order Buzz Lightyear and Sheriff Woody for a friend's 5 year old boy on January 7, 2010. I was planning on giving it to him as a late Christmas present then finally decided to stash it in his Easter basket. I ended up giving it to him today (4/1/10) as he was home sick and feeling terrible. LESS THAN 5 HOURS AFTER PRESENTING IT TO HIM THE "LASER" LIGHT QUIT WORKING! I am seriously bummed out. He wasn't even overly playing with it, as he was sick! The "laser" light worked probably 15 times before stopping. Of course it's out of the warrenty time. It's such a disappointment as he was speechless with excitement when he got it and parts of it now don't work.

We bought this for our son for his 4th birthday which was in September. He loved it and plays with it every now and then, but he isn't rough with it. Around Christmas time one leg broke off at the knee and the only way to fix it was with electrical tape. Today one of his wings broke off and is dangling by the wire. For a "space ranger" this toy isn't durable at all. I know most boys are more aggressive with their toys than mine is and this didn't last at all. It's too bad because he loves it.

We got this for our son for his 5th birthday. He has the 'other" buzz that the wings don't pop out. so he really wanted this one.
