We purchased the Razor rider about 1 month ago for our 10yo. Within this time both rear tire covers came loose because the screws holding it together became stripped. Now we are trying to figure out how to remediate the situation: washers won't fit, now looking to use a bigger screw to hold it together. If you're going to make a product geared for children atleast make it sturdy enough to withstand the rigorous use of children. It is a fun toy and there are 3 others on our block. I have riden it (I am within the weight limit) and got a kick out of it, it was fun. Just pay special attention to the back wheel assembly when building the thing.

We bought a Rip-Rider for our 10 year old son and he absolutely loves it! The drifting action makes the ride really unique and fun. We customized it by sanding the seat, handle bar divider and wheel and spray painting it black (sorry Razor) and it looks great. Our 12 year old son borrowed it so much, he saved up and bought himself one. The rear wheels wear out quickly, order more when you order your Rider. We highly recommed this product.

They are well made, comfortable, sturdy and are fun to ride. We have 3 and even I ride them around with our boys. Totally worth the money we spent for all three!

My 5 year old is a maniac on this thing! Kids in the neighborhood put down their motorized scooters to stand in line to ride the Rip Rider. If you want to see a child experience pure joy, and get a decent workout, this is it.
I probably will need another for big sister so they stop fighting over who gets it next.

I purchased this online without really understanding what this new Razor could do. When my grandson received this he was thrilled. He thought it was the best gift ever. It was very well made, it was not light and cheap. It really is alot of fun. The kids love riding this and even the adults (even though they are to large) try to ride it. We all agree that the company should make a similar bike in adult form!
