My 11 year old son saved up money to buy this pogo stick. He loves it! Its easy to ride and seems pretty durable. All the kids in our neighborhood had to try it out. He said that he would recommend it big time.

Our son on his 8th birthday wanted a pogo stick and did not get one. He used his birthday money to buy this one. At first he could hardly jump 5 times in a row. Within a week he was over 700. It has been perfect. Small bounces or big bounces. Now he is doing tricks and showing off to the neighbor kids. Make sure you keep it out of dirt and sand, keep it oiled and it will last a long time.

I bought this for my 8 year old last Christmas and she has enjoyed it very much. She now weighs right at 40 lbs and she can pogo for a long time. The pogo stick is very durable but certainly cannot deal with a grown-up's weight. It's great exercise for her because she always gets a good work-out when using it. I had a pogo stick when I was a kid and absolutely loved it.
The only thing about this pogo stick which I think could have been done better and the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5, is that the handle could have been wider. It's very narrow giving a small space for each hand to hold onto. I think it would be easy for a kid to accidentally let go of or allow his/her hand to slide and lose hold of the bar. But so far my kid hasn't so maybe that's an unnecessary worry on my part.

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter's recent 8th birthday, and she couldn't have been more thrilled. I awoke at 5:30am the following morning to the sounds of her repeated efforts to learn how to pogo! The first hour she rarely got more than 5 jumps in, but by the end of the day she was doing 200 jumps. I really appreciated the challenge this provided her, along with the easy-to-set and easy-to-achieve goals for improvement (e.g. reaching 10, 50, 100, 200 jumps). I've also appreciated that this provides some great exercise without requiring much room. She and her sister can do this in the safety of our back porch for those times when they want to do something outside but I don't want to leave them riding bikes unsupervised.
With regard to quality, the Flybar seems very well built. All the foam on it is welcome; it provides some protection from bumps & bruises to the jumper as well as to anything he/she may happen to hit it with as they are moving it around, putting it away, etc.
This was certainly one of the better presents we have purchased for our kids -- providing exercise, fun, and longevity. It has really made me want to get an adult version for myself (the spring in this one is suited for kids; anyone over 100 lbs. would probably be too heavy for it).
