Editorial Review
Grown-up's garden chores are kid's play with this scaled-down replica of the real thing. Sturdy steel body with smooth-finished hardwood handles. Features seamless steel tray with no-scratch edges and steel undercarriage, durable molded wheel and real wood wheelbarrow handles. Body measures 20" x 16" x 4".This little wheelbarrow is the tool of choice for hauling flowers, grass clippings, toys, and other treasures. Not only does it look like a real wheelbarrow, it is a real wheelbarrow, with a red steel tray, a black triangular steel undercarriage, and finished hardwood handles. The tray has no-scratch edges and is 20 inches long, 16 inches wide, and 4 inches deep. The black plastic molded wheel is 7 inches in diameter and 1.25 inches wide. The wheelbarrow stands 11 inches from the floor and is 32 inches from the front of the tray to the ends of handles. The whole thing weighs a little more than 7 pounds. --Louise Carter

Very durable and you can easily add on a longer handles to be used as the child grows.
Plus added benefit helps on yard clean up or toy box.

I bought this wheelbarrow for my next door neighbor's boy. He had been coming over to help me do some yard work, but he did not have his own wheelbarrow. I gave it to him for Christmas and it was a great hit. He used the wheelbarrow to haul his other present around. When we had nice weather, he brought the wheelbarrow over and we put some dirt in it and he got to wheel it to another spot and dump it. He just turned three and the wheelbarrow is the right size for him. I expect that by the time he is 6 he will be to big for it.
However, until that time this wheelbarrow should hold up. It is well constructed and when all the screws and bolts are tightened down it seems very solid.

Easy to put together, slightly smaller than I anticipated but it works for our 4 year old. It's very sturdy and he likes the fact it looks like an adult sized one. A great buy.

It was a tradition in my hard-working family that my grandfather would buy a wheelbarrow for the first-born male in each family, whether in our family or a friends. While a lot of people have looked at me a little odd as I carry this on, it teaches a value of work, as well family closeness. My nephew uses his in and out of the house helping pick up toys or work in the garden, and when the 2nd nephew is old enough, he too will follow on in this tradition. It is a little odd for a gift, admittedly, but kids figure out what to do with it.
